About Me
I am a passionate science educator dedicated to creating inclusive, inquiry-driven classrooms where every student feels supported and challenged. Over five years in middle school science, I designed structured routines that foster ownership of learning while sparking curiosity through hands-on labs, sustainability projects, and real-world STEM connections.
At Elkins Pointe and East Cobb Middle Schools, I led curriculum transitions, coached colleagues, and brought in industry professionals to connect classroom science to students’ futures. My experience ranges from co-taught and ELL classes to gifted and advanced learners, and I take pride in differentiating lessons to meet the needs of each child. Beyond the classroom, I’ve mentored new teachers, coached Science Olympiad, and sponsored STEM initiatives that build confidence and collaboration.
I believe deeply in partnering with families, colleagues, and the wider community to empower students as curious, compassionate, and responsible learners who see themselves as scientists and problem-solvers. Looking ahead, I am excited to bring creativity, structure, and joy to my next teaching community.
